Skyddsrummet

Skyddsrummet (The Shelter) is an atmospheric short film produced by Identic Films in collaboration with Synas Media. With its muted light and claustrophobic sense of space, the film builds a feeling of threat and confinement that lingers.

Sweden is at war, and people gather in a shelter to take cover. It soon becomes clear that they will have to stay far longer than anyone imagined — and as the food runs out and the enemy knocks at the door, the question sharpens: who is the hero, who is the villain, and who is ready to sacrifice themselves for others?

The film was named winner at the Luleå International Film Festival 2025.
