Vägen Hemifrån

Vägen Hemifrån (The Way Home) is a short documentary that Synas Media produced together with the newspaper Smålänningen. With journalist and interviewer Catarina Johansson at the microphone and Jahja Alkhatib behind the camera, the film meets its subject up close — in the form of the personal conversation.

It is an example of how Synas Media works in the borderland between journalism and film: research and interview meet a cinematic visual language, giving a true story the time, space and presence it deserves.
